Gregory F. McGroarty

Gregory F. McGroarty joined Dyer & Peterson in June, 2024 after many years of experience with premier defense litigation firms.

Gregory F. McGroarty counsels and defends clients in a variety of complex civil litigation claims with a particular focus on the transportation industry. With 17 years of experience as a civil litigator, Greg has represented a wide range of clients facing product liability, asbestos exposure, fire causation, personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, construction defects, insurance coverage, bad faith and subrogation claims. He has handled complex claims that include intercompany contracts and agreements, conducting expert depositions, participating in mediations and preparing various motions.

Greg has successfully tried multiple jury and bench trials in the Superior Court of New Jersey. In addition, he has participated in multiple mediations, arbitrations and settlement negotiations that have saved his clients significant expenses and potential exposure to substantial jury verdicts.

As staff counsel for a Fortune 500 insurance company, Greg represented clients in first- and third-party claims for bodily injury, property damage claims, and insurance coverage cases, where he successfully prepared and argued multiple dispositive motions for summary judgment.
